I've tried all ways to get rid of them, but people say they are too hideous for anything." The Misses Newrich : " Yes ; and your Grace will not mind taking a few dozen boxes of our home-made sweets that nobody else will buy — just for charity's sake — will you ? " The Duchess wishes she had not spoken.
