The latter, while preparing some dinner, missed the child, and on searching found him quite dead in about four to five feet of water in the mill-dam. An inquest was held yesterday, at noon, at Brookside. before Mr A. E. Inwood, J.P., ActingCoroner, and a jury, of whom Mr John Sterling, was chosen foreman. After hearing the evidence and the statement of Dr Henry A. Reed, who had made a postmortem examination, a verdict of "Accidentally drowned " was returned. •
