THE BRITISH ADVANCE. [Per Press Association. 1 LONDON, Oct. 15. Sir Michael Hicks Beach, Chancellor of the Exchequer, declares that the capture of Dongola, will be a stepping stone into Khartoum when the financial, obstacles are removed. Speaking at Glasgow Mr Curzon, Parliamentary Secretary of the Foreign Office, said that he thought the British flag was certain to float at Khartoum ere long.
