The adjourned meeting of the. Union Rowing Club was held last evening a,t the Clarendon Hotel. .-The Cxapfejon) -Mr F. E. Hynian, presided, and therms Jsvasva large attendance of members. An apology for absence was received from Mr A. Loughrey, vice-president. Mr W. G-. Atack said that with the permission of the meeting he would withdraw the motion which he had proposed at the last meeting. His chief reason was that it appeared likely that a number of papers had been destroyed through inadvertence without being counted in the ballot, and that fresh papers w,ere not delivered to the members. Permission was given to Mr Atack to withdraw his motion. It was then resolved that the election of the General Committee at the annual meeting should be annulled. A second ballot was taken, with the result that Messrs Gr. H. Mason, D. Lee, R D. Kesteven, W. •G. Atack, Moore, J. B. Norris and Allan were returned. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded to Messrs A. E. Craddock, W. G. Atack and F. Fuller for their services in •connection with this matter, to the retiring committeemen and to the Chairman, after which the meeting closed.
