Ltttelton Sailors' Home.— The committee of the Lyttelton Sailors' Home has received a letter, signed by twenty seamen of the crews of the Glenfinlas, Timaru and other vessels Avhich have visited the port -lately, expressing their thanks and appreciation for the enjoyments and. comfort afforded by the Home, which they affirm has had the effect of. keeping many men from spending- much of their time in public houses.
