Drunkenness. — Two first offenders wer<* each fined 5s and costs, in default the usual alternative ; Maurice Fitzpatrick was fined a similar amount. Alleged Assault. — Maurice Fitzpatrick was also charged with having, on May 15, assaulted his wife, Mary Fitzpatrick. Mr Flesher, who appeared- for the informant, applied for an adjournment, to enable the case to be heard by the Stipendiary Magistrate. An adjournment was granted till Friday.
