TYPHOID AND DIPHTHERIA.
There 'are now twenty people in the Wellington Hospital suffering from typhoid fever. None of the cases is of a malignant type. Owing, it is believed, to the opening up of drains all over Wellington, tho number of cases of diphtheria treated at tho hospital during the summer has been larger than has been usual during previous warm seasons.
