Mails close for the -following places as under, subject to the necessary, alterations: — Wednesday, March 18. For Cheviot and Kaikoura, per "Wakatu, at 6.25 p.m. .; late fee letters, 6.40 p.m. ; guard's van, 7.45 p.m. train. For South America, United Kingdom and Europe via Monte Video (specially addressed per Rimutaka), per Takapuna, at 7.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 8 p.m. ; parcels post parcels at 5 p.m. ; guard's van, 9.15 p.m. train. For United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America and West Indies (via San Francisco), Hawaiian Islands and Samoa, and also for Northern Ports of , New Zealand, per Takapuna, as follows : — Ordinary letters, 7.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 8 p.m. ; books and newspapers, 7.30 p.m. ; registered letters, 5 p.m. ; money orders, 4 p.m. ; guard's van, 9.15 p.m. train. Due London April 22. Friday, March 20. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies, and also for United Kingdom and Europe (via Naples), India, China, Japan, Straits Settlement, &c, per Wakatipu, at 5.25 p.m. ; late fee letters, 5.40 p.m. ; guard's van s , 6.45 p.m. train. Mails for Earatonga and Tahiti close at Auckland, per Richmond, March 19, at 9 a.m. Mails for Soxith America, United Kingdom and Europe, per Rimutaka, close at Wellington on March 19, at 1 p.m. Mails for Pnysegur Point and Cromarty will close at Invercargill, Thursday, March 19, at 1.30 p.m. Mails for Fiji per Taupo close at Auckland on March 21, at 3 p.m. R.
