THE LOTHAIR.
■: The long chapter of incidents in connec- ! tion with the barque Lothair was concluded on Friday, when the vessel was "towed from Nelson by the Charles Edward. i The stay of the Lothair is altogether capped (says the local Star) by the final incident of her sojourn in Nelson. When Captain Cafranza came ashore he met a young woman of the Port, who expressed her desire to take'passage in his ship to CaHao. The preliminary arrangements were soon completed ; the sum of .£8 was paid to Mr Fisher, Italian Consul, as passage money, and the young woman has left in the Lothair, braving the perils of the sea and of the strange disease which ravaged the vessel in order to seek "fresh woods and pastures new."
