FIRE.

[Pee Press Association.] WELLINGTON, August 27. Buildings at Foxton belonging to the Railway Department, and known as the old train sheds, were destroyed by fire. About twenty toss of flax stored at the rear of the building were burned. The damage is estimated at £400, and is believed to be partly covered by insurance. The fire is believed to have started in the flax fibre.
