MADAGASCAR.
A WHOLESALE MASSACRE. [Special to Pbess Association.] LONDON, August 27. Tha French armed ten thousand Sakalavas, the hereditary enemies of the Hovas, and sent them on in front of the mam advance. They carried their raids quite beyond the control of command, and massacred four hundred women and children at Marovoac. Letters from a war correspondent indicate that the Malagasy Government is completely disorganised, and is unable to offer any effective resistance. There is no obstacle in the way of the French, except thafc presented by the climate.
