Mr Hotson, Victorian frozen meat expert, things that the recent low priceß ruling for meat are responsible for the opening of new channels for the trade. These new markets are likely to be permanent, as he does not believe the greater increase in prices will cause them to be closed. With a view of assisting in the establishment of Manchester as a centre of distribution, Mr Hotson haß arranged to lecture to commercial men and members of the municipality on the subject. Messrs Nelson Brothers are extending operations in the same direction. , : • '
