The assay value of the bullion recovered from 493 tons, crushed and treated by the New Zealand Crown Mine Company, Limited, last month, was £2415. A report current here that Sir George Gray haß sent out a cable message stating that the resignation of his saat for Auckland, is on ita way, is not confirmed by inquiry made from Sir George Grey's relatives and other reliable sources.
