The match Sydenham Fourth v. Lyttelton Third resulted in a draw, each, side 1 Th P ird D defeatea Linwood Fourth by three points to nil. St Albans Second defeated Pirates Third by eleven points to nil. The Richmond Second JTif teon beat the Kaiapoi Fourth Fifteen, at Kaiapoi, by a try to nothing.

In the senior football matches to-day Athletics defeated Wellington by ten to three, and Poneke drew with Melroee. The Secretary of the Wellington Rugby Union received a letter to-day from the Secretary of the Auckland Union, stating that a team from that district will posßibly be cent south at the end of August.
