An eccentric woman at Trenton, New Jersey* who was known to possssa a large sum in United States bonds, died lately. Sha told her relatives that the bonds had not been deposited in a bank, but were concealed somewhere in the room. After she was dead a search was made, but proved fruitless. When the body was being prepared for interment the back was found to be covered from tho shoulders i to the hips | with porous piasters* and upon these being , removed boncU to the value of a. quarter o£ a million dollar* were found.
