Sunday Services. — The Roy J. J* Doba v/ill preach at the Baptist Tabernaole both morning and evening, and at. the evening Borvica will Rivo a special address to young men ou "Gambling." Christadelphian services will bo held in the Druids' Hall at 11 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. At tho Lower High Street Bible Christian Church the Rev A. Mitchell will conduct the services. Tho Sydenham Gospel Mission will hold services at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. Pastor Birch, in connection with tho Christchnroh Central Mieeien, will hold services in the Oddfellows' Hall, Lichfield Street, at 11 a.m. and 6.45 p.m. A German gentleman, whose wife and three children were drowned in the Elbe, recently made the voyage from Hamburg to Southampton on board the Ems. When the fatal snot where the Elbe wont down was retched, the captain of tho Ems slowed his Bhip so aa to allow tbe bereaved husband and father to lower into the sea a groat, wreath of flower*, weighted with lead.
