No. 4 Industrial Building Societi.— At a meeting of the Board of Directors of No. 4 Industrial Building Society it waß decided, owing to the filling of the share list and the regularity of payments, to make two further allotments of £300 on July 4. St John Ambulance Association.— A meeting of the committee of the Ashburton branch of this society wbb held on Wednesday evening. The action of the Secretary in procuring necessaries for furnishing the room, stationery, &o„ was confirmed. The Mayor (Mr J. Scaly) was unanimously elected chairman.
