CONSULS ATTACKED.

[SPECIAL TO PREBB ASSOCIATION.! CAIRO, Mat 31.

News has reached here tbat the British Vice-consul in Jeddah, one of the principal trading centres in Arabia, was attacked by Bedouins and killed. The British, Trench and Italian Consuls wero also attacked, but although severely wounded they escaped with their lives. No further particulars are to hand, and as far as is known here no reason can be assigned for the outbreak.
