MELBOUBNE, May 28.
The complete Australasian gold returns for 1894 show that the total output was 2,196,0-Ooz, an increase of 319,0000_ on the previous year. The increase in New South Wales amounted to 145,5000z, West Australia 96,2000z, and Tasmania 20,3000z. The other colonies, with the exception of New Zealand, shofa small increases.
