«, ! A New Constitution. rSPECIAL TO PBBSB ASSOCIATION.! SYDNEY. May 16. The official journal published in connection with "New Australia " contains a cablegram to the effect that a new constitution waß deolared on May 1, and that Frederick Kidd was elected director of affairs. It is surmised that Lane, the original administrator, did not contest the position, as he desired to make an extensive tour in England and Canada on behalf of the settlement.
