Wreckage Found.
B [Per Press Association.] a AUCKLAND, Jan. 23. News from Waiwera states that wreck- '» age haß been washed ashore at Orewa a beach, consisting of cabin fittings, f polished hat-peg, a small box bearing the word " Noumea," written in blue pencil, "M.C.", Commander Scorff; also a butcher's basket, evidently lately used, an empty box or two, some rough scantling, a box inscribed " L.8., Noumea, 12 E. 29," on it. The French warship Scorff left here on Friday for Dunedin.
