• The match on Saturday was the United Service v. a team selected from the Chriatchurch Polo Club. The teams were as follow .—United Service — Captain Hunter-Blair, Lord Kelburne, and Messrs Harford and De Crispigny; Christchurch Polo Glut — Masses Lane. Buckley, Palmer and the Hon E. W. Parker. Contrary to expectations, the game ended in favour of the United Service, who scored four goals, while the home team was not able to register a single goal. De Crißpigny was the principal scorer for the winners, with two goals to his credit, while Harford and Hunter-Blair were responsible for one each. There was a large attendance of spectators, for whom afternoon tea was provided by the Countess of Glasgow.
