MELBOURNE, Deo. 8. It is reported that a serious deficit has been discovered in the Benevolent Fund of the Masonic Lodge. When the various Lodges amalgamated under the title of the United Grand Lodge the four constitutions dissolved 'and went into liquidation, which was of a very dilatory character. In one case the liquidator found a,, deficit of fully £1000. The announcement has created somewhat o f a sensation,,
