Midland v. United. — Principally owing to the bad fielding of their opponents Midland gained a decided advantage. Scores :— Midland— l69 (J. Morgan 39, W. Garrard 33 not out, Munford 28, and Spencer 23); United— Bo for nine wickets (W. Harman 33, and Mendelson 10 not out). Wilson bowled best for United, and Munford and C. W. Garrard for Midland. ' St Albans v. Lancasxbb Pass. — So far the home team has the better of the game. Scores -.— St Albans, 131 (C. Colville 29, Gibbons 22, Smith 19, J. Colville 15, and Cusack 11) • Lancaster Paik, 49 for eight wickets (Lifferty 15 not out, and Steeds 15). Guntho^pe bowled best for the Park, and Frith' for St Albans has taken seven of the Park wickets for 20 runs. ■
