Brooklet Coal-mining Company.— A meeting of the Directors of this Company was held on Saturday. Mr Farr occupied the chair. The result of the visit to the mine formed the principal subject for discussion. The Directors and others, including a mining expeit, who had explored the ground on Friday, expressed themselves fully satisfied that a large and valuable coalfield exists in the Brockley leasehold. Hayes Circus.-— On Saturday evening Hayes Allied Circus gave its farewell performance in the tent opposite the Theatre Royal.
