Brooklet Coal-mining Company.— A meeting of the Directors of this Company was held on Saturday. Mr Farr occupied the chair. The result of the visit to the mine formed the principal subject for discussion. The Directors and others, including a mining expeit, who had explored the ground on Friday, expressed themselves fully satisfied that a large and valuable coalfield exists in the Brockley leasehold. It was decided that, as a liberal Buppoit to tho enterprise was now assured, to register the Company at once and to commence w6rk witi as little delay as possible. Hayes Circus.-— On Saturday evening Hayes Allied Circus gave its farewell performance in the tent opposite the Theatre Royal. There was a good audience, and the entertainment provided was well received. A matinde was given in the afterj noon. Tho Company will appear atLeeeton I this evening.
