Sydenham.

The nominations for the vacant seals on the Sydenham Borough Council closed this day at noon. Mr C. H. Winney for the Addington ward and Mr A. Clifford for the East ward were elected unopposed. For the Waltham ward Messrs W. H. Meikleham and W. J. Rudd were nominated, and for the Newton ward Messrs W. Edwards, A. H. Hancock and E. Joneß. The election for these two wards takes place on September 14.
