MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE.
■» An Ex M.H.R. Missing, LPkb Pbesb Association. GIBBORNE, Sept. 5. Mr Allan M'Donald, formerly M.H.R. for the East Coast, left Dunedin in the middle of May last by the Rotomahana. On his arrival in Melbourne on May 24 he put up at the Otago Hotel, Flinders street, and after depositing hi? luggage in a bedroom went out, and has not since been heard of. The Melbourne police made a. thorough searching enquiry, without finding a trace of the missing man. Hia luggage was searched, and revealed the fact that he was formerly a sheep farmer in Poverty Bay, and had friends in Gisborne. These are quite in the dark as to bis whereabouts.
