Tbe match Albion Third v. Eastern resulted in a draw. Both sides scored five points. A match between the Waltham First and Pirates Third resulted in a win for the former by thirty-four points to three. The match Linwood Fourth v. Kaiapoi Fourth resulted in a win for the former by fifteen points to nil. A match between the Marshlands and Papanui schools, played on Friday afternoon, wa3 won by the former by nine points to two points. The West Christchurch school- boys journeyed to Kaiapoi on Saturday, and played a match against the Kaiapoi Borough School, winning by seven points to nil. A match was played on Saturday between the East Chri3tchurch School and Eastern Second, and resulted in a win for the school by two points to nil. Ormandy scored the try. The first match played by the new Football Club at Amberley came off on Thursday afternoon at Ambarley against a mixed team from Rangiora. The game was evenly contested throughout, and considering that the Amberley men are so new to the game, and have had so little chance of learning ib, they played exceedingly well. In the first spell Amberley scored two triep, which were converted ; the Rangiora men scored the same number of tries in second spell, but only converted one, leaving the Amberley team victorious by ten points to seven. The visitors were entertained at dinner. Caradus was selected on Saturday, but; later in the day he was injured in a snatch ia Auckland, which prevented him accepting a place in the team.
