[Pan pßies Association.] . AUCKLAND, Jan. 13. The Auckland Racing Club has appointed Mr W. Peroival, the Secretary, aa the delegate at the Conference of Bating Clubs at Wellington. WELLINGTON, Jan. 13. A fair amount of betting has taken place over the Wellington Cup, and the following horses have been backed at the following odds :— IOO to 20 agst Merrie England, 100 to 14 apstCracfcshot, 100 to 12 agst Revolution, 100 to 10 the others. The bookmakers in town vary greatly as to Stepniak's price, but are laying him at i 100 to 30. | Magpie has been scratched , for both hurdle raoes at the Wellington Racing Club's Summer Meeting.
