MedioaL A GENUINE SUCCESS. VICE-EEGAL AKD THESPIAN TESTIMONY. 1 TEAT LITTLE COLD." I - AT the present time tbe weather is most changeable, and nearly everyone suffers from oolds in the head or throat. *I hose affections in their primary state are never very hurtful to the constitution, but a neglected cold is one of the worst things that can ever happen to a human being. It should certainly be attended to im. mediately. Warmer clothing mint be put on ; and tbe patient must nndergo a slight courte of a mediciue which will cnre in the early stages and not allow the Bufferer to become afflicted with those most prevalent complaints — ASTHMA, CONSUMPTION and BEONCHITIS. What a number of pereonß have cause to regret anegleoted Bimple little cold, and if they had only thought it was going to turn out as it has dove they would certainly have taken the PROPER PRKCAUTIONS. But still it ia not too late, nnd whyp Because NATUEE, which provides overy. thing necessary to existence, in her bounty has given ub herbs and vegetation amongst whioh iB hidden tbe antidotes to sickness, and it only required the research of such a lady as MOTHER AUBEBT to discover tho plants whioh yield tho ar tides of assimilation in curbing the ills brought on by a Blight cold, "MABUPA" Is the registered name of MOTHER AUBEBT'S COUGH, ASTHMA and CONSUMPTION BEMEDY. It is a medicine which should be in every honsehold, and testimony has been given by hundreds of per.ons of its good effects. Notably MR WALTER BENTLEY and MISB MTRA KEMBLE, whose vocation brings tbem under the notice of everybody "who mns and reads," would not have certified to the efficacy of "MARUPA" If it waa not what it is made out to be. There arc no mineral substances in its composition, and almost for that reft_on alone it is not hurtful ts thj smallest child, bnt 'enn be administered with perfeot safety, g Mothers, attend to that distressing coujh of your little offspring*, and Bend for a bottle of "MARUPA," And havo cause to rejoice that in future yoa. s your children grow up with CHEEKS LIKE ROSEB, and not with PALLID LIPS because "THAT LITTLE COLD" was neglected iv younger days. The " Fesbman's JonnsAL*' (Satnrdsy, June 4, 1892). ' Special attention ia directed to the advertisement of tbe J£ov Mother Mary Josoph Aubart Remedies which is appearing in our columns for the first time. Mr Orlando J. Kempthorne, who mauages this business, informs ub tbat the sale of these medicines in New Zealand is somewhat wonderful, and that he has the greatest faith that they will soon come into popularity in New touth Wales. Mother Aubert has been at work in N.w Zealand for thirty years, and has always given her time, free of all charge, to persons of all denomi. nations, to whom her assistance could bo of any avail in relieving thorn of their several complaints. Archbishop Redwood, Bishop Grimes, and Lord Onslow certify to relief obtained by the nse ot these remedies, and such testimony is very gratifying, Mr Walter Bentley aud Mias Myra Keinhle have also written adding their proof to the many hundred testimonials received by the proprietor. Some time since we reprinted a paragraph from onr New Zealand Catholic contemporary, in wbioh it waß deplored that Mother Anbert's remedies were not more widely known, and suggesting a more wholesale mode of distributing then than prevailed. It would seem that the Boy Mother has followed the advice offered on that occasion, "NOTHING SUCCEEDS LIKE SUCCESS." Three-quarters of a year has passed since tbo Aubert Bemedies were first made publio, and it certiinly can be now said that they have earned a splendid reputation. As cures for the sevoral ills they are recommended f.r, there can be no doubt of their good character. All medioines put ona market mnst be roliablo ; because it matters not how much you advertise if there are not the beßt qualitiea to work with, your money will be illspent and bring in no jast return. The Romodies under notice have conclusively proved themselves to be sterling, otherwise the ealce would never bavo reached their preseat proportions, nor would suoh valuable testimony have been receivod, as is now in the possession of the proprietors. In New Bouth Wales, where they ore now boing introduced, a steady demand has already set in, helped in a great measure by the evidence of suocess in New Zealand. "KiRANA" Is a very favourite medicine, owing to its "tonio and fortifying nature" as testified to by LORD ONSLOW. It is quite hir mio- s in its action, but it is suro with good results, aud must give satisfaction to sucb person- as will give it a fair trial. Most persons' have an idea that one bottle of medicine will cure their omplainte, and if they do not feel quite well after taking two or throe doses they give tho remedy np in disgust. Pro. bably these people have gone on SUFFERING FOR YEARS, and then, because they see an article advertised which EXACTLY FITS THEIB COMPLAINT, they feel they ought to give ita trial; but wbat doos this trial consist of ? Merely a doao or two, and if in a day a cure is not effeoted on a oomplaint which probably has taken years to build up, they say the medicine is worthless and j not worth bothering with. Few persons like to nocept good advice, but to one and to all we say, if j the Bemedy is worth trying at all, let it at least have a fair chance. A broken-down constitution cannot be built up again in a day ; therefore, we emphatically say that if "KiRANA" Ib persevered with it will with everybody merit the roputation it now haa as one of the BEST TONICS IN EXISTENCEMOTHER MAEY has devoted years to experimenting, and in concluding her labours has produced Remedies from the vegetable world the value of which no one can gainsay. "KARANA* lathe reg'stered TITLE of MOTHER AUBERT'S TONIC. Obtainable everywhere. "WiißAKirA Daily Times. (June 10th, 1892.) Croakers may dismally mutter tbat we are rapidly drifting to financial ohaos and ruin; they inly shake their hoary heads and deplore the fact that capital is slowly but surely leaving the Colony; they may proptesy all sorts of dismal forebodings, but tbe keen, .enslble man of business will tell jou that tbeae nre tbe mere drivellings of despondent dotage. With our va3t, undeveloped resources of minerals, forests, arable land, fisheries and hosts of otber avenues of trado, which but a few short yeara will sco springing into fresh and vigorous life, the statement that this young country is retrograding can only be regarded as the dyspeptic utterance of soured and disappointed men. Every day sees the resources of this grand country gradually opened up in some respect, great or small. Amongst tbe latest we may mention the diECOvery that certain herbs comprised in the New Zealand flora hava healtb.giving and curative properties of the highest order. We allude to the Aubert Bemedies, for which we have to thank that grand woman. Mother Mary Joseph Aubert, who, from the depths of the "forest primeval," has culled the plants from which nre extracted " Marupa," "Natanata," •' Paramo," and " Karana." These medicines have beoome at one bound the moßt popular remedies of tho day, and it is not only in this Colony that their worth is so mnch appreciated, but in the sister Colony of New Sonth Wales they bave been introduced by Mr Kempthorne with tho most complete and instantaneous success. The day cannot be far distant when thesa remedies meet find their way into the Old Conntry, thus openirg np another channel of trade, for which we will have to thank the research of Mother Mary Joseph Aubnrt,
