A number of shipwrights held a preliminary meeting to-day at the Auckland Graving Dock, when every one of those present expressed willingness to join ohe Auckland Shipwrights' Protection Union, which was in existence some time ago, and which it is proposed to resuscitate. The organisation will be affiliated with the Trades and Labour Council.
