Mr Fergus at Nelson.
[P«B fUBBS ABBOOIATION.] NELSON, Nov. 15. The Hon T. Fergus and party arrived: in town this afternoon from the West Coaßt. Mr Fergus expresses himself exceedingly pleased with his journey,. He says the country between the West Coast and Nelson only needs to be better known to attract very many, lie was met by Meßsrs Kerr and Hursthouse, M.H.E.'o, the Mayor of Nelson, the Chairman of the County Council and others. Subsequently he received a deputation from the Waimea County Council and the City Council, and a few matters were bronght under his notice. His replies were deemed satisfactory. Mr Fergus leaves for Havelock by the coach in tho morning, and will visit j Mahakipawa.
