PRODUCE SALES.
Messrs H. Mataon and Co. (associated with the National M. and A. Company of N.Z., Limited), report that the attendance to-day was not up to the average, but notwithstanding this they disposed of the mijor portion of their catalogue. Prices generally were weaker, the following being the values obtained :— Wheat. — Milling, none sold; chick, 2s to 2s 3d for broken ; no whole on offer. Oats. — A line of dunß sold at 23 3d. Barley. — A parcel of common feed realised Is lOd. Potatoes. — Market decidedly weaker, and a sharp decline in value. They sold oeed Derwents at 303 to 37a 6d ; ordinary Derwents, 40a to 42s 6d, sacks included ; Kidneys were not in request. Grabs Seeds. — No business done. The above prices are ex store.
