Chalmers, and Eev F. Seth-Smith, Oamaraj : Eev T.. Austin, Timaru; Bev<2. H. Bradibury, Lin wood; Eev E. J, Williams, Nelson s Eevß W. H. West, W, J. Habens, and W. Powell, Messrs Lindsay, Baker, and J. Broadbent, Wellington; Eev E. HampdenCook, Thames; and clerical and , lay representatives from aU the Auckland and suburban churches. Mr Jago presides. His address will sot be delivered till to-morrow. The business done to-day was mostly formal. At the Congregational Union, the Rev Mr Walker read a paper advocating Church Guilds. . The proposal was carried, regulations were framed, and a local Committee appointed to work them.
