A special meeting of members of the Distrust Grand Lodge of Auckland,' English Constitution,; was held to-night re the proposed United Grand Lodge of Freemasons for. New Zealand. There was a large attendance; and- great interest was manifested in the question. The following resolution was unanimously passed :— " That, in the; opinion of this meeting, it is; not at present advisable to form a United Grand Lodge for New Zealand, and that the meeting-would desire the Dietrict Grand Lodge of Auckland, English Constitution, to take such steps as it may deem expedient to make the opinion of members known to the Grand Lodge of England."' ~v
