[Per Press Association.] NELSON, Jan. 4. At a meeting of the City Council tonight, the Bishop of Nelson attended, and presented to the Corporation a piece of one of the timbers of Lord Nelson's ship, the Victory, given him by Admiral Hopkins at the instigation of Admiral Hay, X.C.8., formerly commanding the Victory. The timber bore a suitably inscribed plate. The Mayor and Councillors, in thanking his Lordship very heartily, spoke of the association which the portion of Nelson's ship possessed, as especially interesting here. '
