FIRES.
♦ [Per Pbkss Association.] AUCKLAND, Sept. 28. Last night a nine-roomed house in England street, Ponsonby, owned and occupied by Mrs Potts, a widow, was destroyed. The fire originated in the kitchen. The house is insured for £200 and the furniture for JBIOO, both in the South British.
