Lincoln.

Mr O'Callaghan has been addressing crowded meetings this week. On Monday at Weedons, where a vote of thanks was given him. On Tuesday at Tai Tapu, where he received a unanimous vote of confidence, amidst hearty applause, from one of the largest meetings ever held in Tai Tapu. On Wednesday at Broadfield, where there was scarcely standing room in the school, a vote of thanks and confidence was given, •with cheers, and without a dissentient voice. Strong Committees have been formed at each of the principal centres in support of the Government candidate, whose actions in the late Parliament have certainly met with the approval of most of his former constituents in the part of the electorate which remains of the old Lincoln district.
