Ashburton Woollen Factory.— Yeeterday, Sir Julius Yogel, as well as a large number of the leading residents (ladieß and gentlemen) of Ashburton, paid a visit to the Ashburton Woollen Factory. Sir Juhus was taken round every part of the building, and every machine came under his notice, Mr Atkinson, the manager of the mill, and Mr George Jameson, one of the Directors, being most assiduous in their attentiona to him. Mr W C Walker, er-M.H.R. for Ashburton, "was* also present. Sir Julius left for Christohuroh by the evening exprees.
