Supposed Loss of the Vessel.

WELLINGTON, August 27.

The following telegram has been received by the Marine Department from the Harbourmaster at Kaipara : — " About sundown on Wednesday a ketch, supposed to bo the Recamia, of Lyttelton, was seen standing in through the breakers outside Tory shoal, on the south side of the channel, during the S.S.E. gale. She is supposed to have captiized, as nothing has been seen of her since."
