TIMARU HARBOUR DREDGE.

The Launch.

TIMABU, August 26,

The Harbour Board's Priestman hopper dredge Tanivrhft was launched this morning at high water, in the presence of many spectators. There was no ceremony, and no mishap occurred. Messrs Ogilvie and Byors had had the contract for putting togotber and launohing tho vessel, and Mr Harchant, the Harbour Board engineer, superintended the arrangements. The engines, &c, will he fitted forthwith, and the dredge is expected to be at work in a fortnight.
