In the appeal case Joseph Counsel (sic), in reference to the Fugitive Offenders Act, New Zealand, the full Court decided that the appellant should enter into a bond to comply with the terms of the New Zealand order. Importation of Stock. A protest has been made against the removal of the restrictions on the importation stock to New South Wales. Fire-£lo,ooo Loss. A. fire occurred last night in the premises of Messrs Wallace and Company, Clarence street. The damages are estimated at ,£IO,OOO.
