INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION.

The Industrial Association held an ordinary meeting last night, when there was a moderate attendance. The President, Mr F. Jenkins, occupied the chair. The Hon Colonel Brett and Messrs James Tait and K. Sando were elected members, and Messrs T. I. Joynt and James Mercer were nominated. After considerable discussion, the President's action in presenting a souvenir to His Excellency, on the Governor's recent visit, was approved. The President stated that he and Mr Pavitt had, by arrangement with the Secretary of the Agricultural and Pastoral Association, gone on Saturday to interview Mr Boag, but that gentleman had not attended at the time appointed.
