DESTRUCTION OF MB HAT'S RESIDENCE. The destruction of Mr Hay's house and ■woolahed at Pigeon Bay, reported elsewhere, in this issue, appears ti have been • due to the combined effoite of a landslip and an outbreak of fire. The buildings are -insured 'for £2100 ia the South British, and the fntniture for i-500 in the same -office.
