HOSPITAL APPOINTMENT. WELLINGTON, April 1. During the passage of the ship Halcione, from London, one of the crew named W. Sims, while bending the foresail, fell overhoard. Owing to the heavy weather, they were not able to pick him ud. Miss Kate Marsden, of Auckland, has ' been appointed matron of the Wellington Hospital, vice Miss Kissling, resigned. Misß Marsden is said to have had a large experience in English institutions.
