THE INTERPROVINCIAL MATCH.. The following eleven have been finally selected to represent the Province in the approaching match against Otago on Boxing Day : — Ashby, D. Fowke, J. Barnes, E. P. An eloren of the Kaiapoi U.C.C. willpliy against the Linwood C.C. on Boxing Day, on the Kaiapoi ground, commencing at 2 o'clock.

CHRIST'S COLLEGE v. TIMARU. This match took place yesterday, and was won, by tho local team, with five wickets to spare. The scores on both sides were poor, only Studholine with 13, Harman with 12, and Cox with 11 reaching double figures for the College. For Timaru the double figure men were C. Perry 13, and F. Jones (not out) 10.

[Per Presb Association.] AUCKLAND, Dec. 23. Robinson's cricket team went South today in the Penguin. The team as now composed is weak. It consists of Barton, Stafford, Lynch, Testro, Eobinton, M'Corniick, Gill, Mills, Meldrum, Coxon, Ewing and Osmond.

CHRISTCHLTRCH REGATTA CLUB. At a full Committee ineeting.of this Club last evening, it was decided to hold the annual regatta on Thursday, Feb. 26. The following events in order were decided upon : — Junior Double Sculls, Maiden Fours, Champion Fours, Junior Pairs, Ladies' Plate, Champion Pairs, Maiden Double Sculls, Junior Fours, and Champion Double Sculls. It was decided that the Maiden Fours be rowed in Salter's practice clinkers, and that Maidens competing in this race ba debarred from competing in the Maiden Double Sculls. A Canvassing Committee was appointed to collect subscriptions.

RIFLE MATCH. The following team will represent the Kowai Eifle Club on their range on Boxing Day ngaiust the Christchurch Artillery :— J. Cameron, J. B. Hunter, J. W. Pate, J. W. Powell, W. Hunter, J. Stuart, M. Lister, M. Robertson, D. M'Kay, G. White ; emergency— W. Brock, A. C. Barnes.
