A great storm visited Ooromandel district last night. The temporary bridge at Hospital oreek was oarried away, and the yaoht Perseverance, which started for Cabbage Bay, had to run back to Beeson's Island. One of the party, named Ford, reported that the barque Bella Mary, from Thames, bound for Whangaroa, had put in there this afternoon owing to the severe weather prevailing outside.
