DUNEDIN, Jtot 16. The threatened attack by tho Skeletons on tho Salvationists did not come off. The services were largely attended, and were more orderly than usual. In the afternoon a large number of people assembled in the vicinity of tho barracks, with the aimablo intention of seeing the assault; but they were disappointed. A force of police wrs kept in reserve, and the two constables who were on duty in front of the 'barracks prevented people from crowding about the doors, ordering them to move on if more than two stood by the door. In the evening the orowding could not be prevented j but there was no disorderly conduct.
