Information is to hand that the railway traffic between Suez and Alexandria has been resumed, and that passengers will now be forwarded from Alexandria to Venice. Archibald Forbes leaveß for New Zealand on Nov. 21, by the Manapouri.
WELLINGTON, Nov. 16. A settler named O. Olaxton. residing near Foatherston, was yosterday afternoon drowned in the Tauhureniknu rivor. The body has not yob been rooovorcd. An inquost is to bo held on tho recent fire at Now ton.
