It will be noticed the concession is given to goods consigned to tho Promoters of the Exhibition only, who make their own arrangements for the delivery of Exhibits from the Railway to tho Exhibition. [Extract from " New Zealand Gazette, Feb. 17, 1882.] ALTERATIONS AND ADDITIONS TO THE SCALE OF FARES AND CHARGES IN FORCE ON THE NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. la accordance with the By-laws for the New Zealand Railways, fixed by Orders in Conncil dated tho 6th January, 1881, and the 22nd September, 1881, the following scale of charges for tho purposes specified below is hereby fixed, in lien or in addition to that at present in force, and sach scale shall come into force forthwith :— Goods consigned for exhibit at the International Exhibition to be held at Christchnrch dnrirjr April, 1882, will bo carried free on the Now Zealand Bailways, provided that they shall bo so carried at the sole risk of tho consignors, and that esich packet shall bo consijfned to the promoters of the Exhibition. and marked legibly, "For Exhibit at Christ, church International Exhibition," and that loudinf* and unloading sliall be done at the expense of the «• •• ,i,-aor .■;, arid that, in event of such exhibits l>eiutf sold, the full railway charges shall be paid.
